Help with your templates and downloads
Most problems with the free templates come down to one of three things: the file didn’t finish downloading, the ZIP wasn’t unzipped, or the template was opened somewhere other than Microsoft Word. Start here.
The download didn’t start, or I can’t find it
- The free package is a large ZIP file (about 280 MB). Download it on a computer, not a phone, and let it finish before you open it.
- Check your browser’s Downloads list. If nothing is there, go back to the free downloads page and click the download button again.
I can see the ZIP but can’t edit anything
- Unzip (extract) the folder first. A ZIP preview will not let you edit.
- Open the .docx template in Microsoft Word on a computer. PDF viewers, Google Docs and phone apps can scramble the layout.
- Keep one untouched copy of each template, so you can always start over.
- If the fonts look wrong, the template font isn’t installed on your computer. Install it (or pick another font you have a license for) and the layout comes back.

I bought something and can’t find it
- Paid courses and template bundles live in the course school: sign in at courses.creativindie.com with the same email you used at checkout.
- Open the product from your dashboard. If you’re signed out, the lessons look locked.
- Still missing? Reply to your purchase receipt email with the product name and which file or lesson you can’t find. Never send a password or card details.
Refunds
If a purchase isn’t right for you, reply to your purchase receipt email within 30 days and ask for a refund. See the refund policy.
